Nafissatou Diallo Press Conference on DSK Receives Church Support
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Nafissatou Diallo’s press conference today attracted support from Church patrons. Nafissatou Diallo also drew more than one hundred news reporters. The Dominique Strauss-Kahn former hotel maid has been increasing her public exposure since coming forward in recent television and print news interviews.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn has denied any wrongdoing. His prosecutors have yet to decide whether to pursue or drop his charges. Dominique Strauss-Kahn was for the former head of the IMF and a top presidential candidate for France. But today Nafissatou Diallo defended herself amid accusations about her credibility.
Nafissatou Diallo claims that Strauss-Kahn forced relations on her on May 14. Today her attorney confirmed the same. Diallo counsel Kenneth Thompson told news that “Information has been put out there about Ms Diallo that I know was false.”
He added “She never was scheming to take DSK’s money, and that’s a fact.” Diallo had been under fire for her incorrect statements on her background. But Diallo came public, increasingly local sentiment in favor of her position.
Diallo, however, is not the only person accusing Strauss-Kahn of wrongdoing. In 2008 Piroska Nagy (photos below) claimed Dominique Strauss-Kahn has a serious “problem” with women under his supervision. Piroska Nagy claimed he was “a man with a problem that may make him ill-equipped to lead an institution where women work under his command.”

Recently Tristane Banon also has accused the former IMF head of conduct against her. Banon, a news trainee, was sent to a flat to get an interview with Strauss-Kahn years earlier. Strauss-Kahn is accused of deliberating choosing the location, then allegedly ripping off Banon’s clothes once she was there.

DSK Wife Anne Sinclair has defended him. “I do not believe for a single second the accusations leveled against my husband.” She added “I do not doubt his innocence will be established. I appeal for restraint and decency.”

Nafissatou Diallo Photos of Strauss-Kahn Maid Will Inflame Public: Attorney
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Nafissatou Diallo (photos below), the Dominique Strauss-Kahn maid, is seeking to inflame the public, claims Strauss-Kahn’s attorney. Nafissatou Diallo’s photos and identity have long been known across news organizations. But most U.S. publications have chosen not to publish her pictures and identity since she had chosen to remain anonymous during the criminal investigation of Strauss-Kahn.
But overseas, for weeks, her name and face had graced the front page of international news publications, not just in France, but across Europe. This week, however, Nafissatou Diallo is speaking out.
She granted this week two news interviews – one in print to Newsweek and one to ABC News. The ABC News will air across programming slots this morning and this evening, including a GMA Good Morning America interview and a Nightline interview tonight.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office had no comment about her interview with ABC. But Strauss-Kahn’s attorneys are furious, calling an attempt to inflame a possible jury pool. “It’s obvious purpose is to inflame public opinion against a defendant in a pending criminal case,” William Taylor and Benjamin Brafman said in a written statement released to news.
But with the news interview came an additional revelation, not surprising to French critics. The maid has retained New York attorney Kenneth Thompson who intends to file a civil lawsuit against Strauss-Kahn this week.

The Newsweek interview details alleged details of the encounter. “Hello? Housekeeping.” Diallo claims she said when walking into the room. Strauss-Khan appeared reportedly unclothed.
“Oh, my God,” she claims she said. “I’m so sorry.”
Diallo asserts that as she moved away, he said “You don’t have to be sorry.” She claims he grabbed her breasts and slammed the door behind her, stating “You’re beautiful.”
She tells both ABC and Newsweek that she then told Strauss-Kahn “I said, ‘Sir, stop this. I don’t want to lose my job’”. “He said, ‘You’re not going to lose your job.’” She claims that he forced relations on her, that she left traced elements of the crime on the carpet.
